Who we are

Founder-led. Operationally disciplined. Built for growth.

Safad Investment is a founder-led investment and management platform created by Ibrahim AlSafadi to establish, build and scale operating companies in the conditions where peace has failed and continuity is what people need most. The platform operates as a single accountable counterpart to United Nations agencies, governments, donor agencies, foundations and reconstruction vehicles.

Inside the Safad portfolio sit two operating companies — IMDAD Total Site Services (co-founded 2012, 50% held) and Luminus Catering (founded 2007, 100% held). Together they have run cross-border food pipelines into Gaza, operated industrial bakeries inside Zaatari and Azraq for over five thousand consecutive days, managed UN peacekeeping camps in Abyei for eight consecutive years, and built mission infrastructure across nine countries.

Mission Gaza

Reconstruction needs the platform we have already built.

Gaza is at the centre of the agenda — personally, because Gaza is where the founder's family is from, and operationally, because Safad already has the platform that reconstruction will need. After October 2023, Safad delivered 15,358 metric tons of food into Gaza through the Arish–Rafah corridor under the World Food Programme's emergency response. The next phase is reconstruction.
