Learn moreSafad Investment is a founder-led investment and management platform created by Ibrahim AlSafadi to build, manage and scale operating companies delivering humanitarian logistics, camp management, engineering and construction, food systems, and protection-related supplies to United Nations agencies, governments, multilateral funders, donor agencies and foundations across the Middle East and Africa.
Safad Investment is a founder-led investment and management platform created by Ibrahim AlSafadi to establish, build and scale operating companies in the conditions where peace has failed and continuity is what people need most. The platform operates as a single accountable counterpart to United Nations agencies, governments, donor agencies, foundations and reconstruction vehicles.
Inside the Safad portfolio sit two operating companies — IMDAD Total Site Services (co-founded 2012, 50% held) and Luminus Catering (founded 2007, 100% held). Together they have run cross-border food pipelines into Gaza, operated industrial bakeries inside Zaatari and Azraq for over five thousand consecutive days, managed UN peacekeeping camps in Abyei for eight consecutive years, and built mission infrastructure across nine countries.
Safad Investment's services were designed to work together. The same teams, supply chains, quality systems and field structures support all five lines, which is why our clients often start with one and expand into others over the life of an engagement.

After October 2023, Safad delivered 15,358 metric tons of food into Gaza through the Arish–Rafah corridor under the World Food Programme's emergency response. The next phase is reconstruction.
