Recognised on the global platform.

Regular speaker at the World Economic Forum, the World Bank Fragility Forum, UNHCR's Global Refugee Forum and SDG fora — invited as an operator, not as commentary.

Biography

Two decades of company-building, one continuous discipline.

Ibrahim AlSafadi is a Jordanian-Palestinian social impact entrepreneur and the Founder & General Manager of Safad Investment. He has spent more than two decades building operating companies that deliver essential services — humanitarian logistics, camp management, engineering and construction, food systems and protection-related supplies — to United Nations agencies, governments, donor agencies and foundations, with the conviction that profit and purpose are the same act.

His ventures include Luminus Education (co-founded 1999 with his late father Ishaq AlSafadi), Luminus Technology (founded 2004), the Luminus Group (founded 2006), Luminus Catering (founded April 2007), IMDAD Total Site Services (co-founded 2012 with his late partner Ziad Armouti), and Luminus Life+ (founded 2022). Together they have impacted an estimated five million people across the region, supported over ninety thousand learners, and operated across nine countries — including the long-running WFP fresh-bread retail inside Zaatari and Azraq, the WFP Gaza emergency response since October 2023, and eight consecutive years of camp management for UNISFA in Abyei.

Today, Safad Investment is the consolidation of that operating capability — a founder-led management and investment platform built to scale into Gaza reconstruction and a measured Middle East and Africa expansion.
