What we do

One counterpart, one quality regime, one site that does not stop.

Safad operates as a single accountable counterpart for total site services, taking responsibility for the day-to-day continuity of camps, missions and humanitarian sites. Our scope routinely covers cleaning, laundry, solid-waste and wastewater services, grounds maintenance, pest control, accommodation services, and the engineering maintenance and repair that keeps camps running across civil, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC and generator systems.

Underneath those services is an on-site management, reporting and quality-control system aligned with United Nations technical and security requirements. Through IMDAD Total Site Services, this capability has overseen contracts of more than 1,000 staff in high-risk conflict zones for years on end.

Where we have done this.

Documented, multi-year contracts that demonstrate Safad's ability to be the single accountable counterpart for camp continuity under UN mission conditions.

UNISFA Abyei

Camp management and total site services contractor for the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei from 2017 to 2025, on the disputed Sudan–South Sudan border. Contract UNISFACON18-02, total not-to-exceed value USD 63.74 million across 24 amendments. Multi-country mission support

Full camp and facilities management capability deployable across remote and contested mission environments in the wider region — under the IMDAD Total Site Services operating brand, with regional support hubs in Jordan and Egypt.

UN-grade reporting

Daily reporting, quality dashboards, KPI tracking, incident reporting and audit-ready documentation — the layer that allows a UN mission to treat the site as a single managed asset, not a collection of vendors.

Hardened workforce model

An operating model designed to recruit, deploy, rotate and manage large, multi-disciplinary site teams in security-critical environments — including more than 1,000 staff at a single mission site for years at a time.

How we engage

Base contract, task orders, single counterpart.

Total site services engagements are typically multi-year and structured around a base contract with task orders. Safad mobilises a dedicated site team, a quality and reporting layer, and a regional support structure for procurement and engineering.

The model is designed to give the client a single accountable counterpart for the operational continuity of the site — one contract, one quality regime, one point of escalation. Engagements are led from the Office of the General Manager and underwritten by the IMDAD Total Site Services operating record.

The mission is judged on whether the camp ran today. That is the standard we hold ourselves to.
